Design and Manufacture Service

When we undertake design and manufacture projects, we liaise with the customer (sometimes, the customer’s customer) to determine the specific requirements, tooling required, and collect the product data (computer models or components).   We then produce schematic models of the proposed tooling and present these schemes on a laptop and discuss all aspects of the design and fixture function, to a point where principle design sign off is achieved (this could require many visits or presentations).

The 3D model is then completed including all bought out parts and fasteners, and a set of fully interactive detail and assembly drawings is produced so each part can be manufactured, identified and assembled together to make the required tooling,  this includes a stocklist of all parts to assist in purchase and control of manufacture.  All drawings and information is fully checked before issuing to the sub contract manufacturer. (We have several links with manufacturers who we have used for varied projects over many years).

We would then control and monitor the manufacture phase, thus ensuring the tooling is made and assembled to our high standards.  Once complete, we sign off the tooling and invite the customer to accept delivery for try-out on their site or to visit and try-out at point of manufacture.  We welcome progress visits from the customer at any stage of the project. Once given the go ahead to deliver the Tooling, it would be delivered to site, commissioned and demonstrated to the operators, full requirements of this process would be set out at the quotation stage.
